Bug Evolution [🕷️] Beginner Guide

First session

1. What you are doing — You hatch as a tiny spider on a public server of 15 players. Private servers are off. Other players can eat you, and eating is also how you grow.
2. The stated loop — The official description says to hatch, eat, evolve on the Bug Tree, team up, and become King of the server.
3. Finish the arrows first — One opening objective was level 8. Another tutorial's fifth step was to bite an acorn or cocoon until it broke.
4. Eat, then hunt — Bigger food pays more. Ants and crickets are the early hunts. A giant cricket is a step up, so look at your level before you chase it.
5. Big bites first — Skip a tiny orb when a large one is close. Night Hunt later doubles bite XP.
6. Do not guess the first evolve — The text under your health bar names the next form and the level. Press Evolve only when that requirement is met. An October 27 session offered Grasshopper or Housefly, and Housefly asked for level 12 and 200 coins. Other sessions printed Garden Spider at level 12 instead.
7. Read the choice screen — Compare both stat cards if you are offered a choice. Flight is Housefly's known advantage.
8. Pick one upgrade — Each level also asks for Damage, Speed, Health, or Lucky Bite. Lucky Bite's effect is not published.
9. Claim the free coins — Claim daily login and playtime rewards. Joining the Corgi Crew group has given a small coin reward. No Codes button was on the HUD in the sessions checked through October 28, 2026.
10. Quests and invite — Quests such as Reach Level 30 have paid 150 coins. The Invite button shows +500, and the unit was not labeled.
11. Stay in the level band — Stay in Sunny Meadow until you can read a higher banner. Whispering Woods prints Lv 15+. The map can mark the largest player. Sprint early. Death did not reset progress in the October 27 walkthrough.
12. Leave the boss for later — Use Team if a friend is in the same server. The Emperor Scorpion is a later fight, not a level 15 goal.
