Other players can attack and eat you. Servers hold 15 players. Private VIP servers are turned off on the public game record, so you cannot buy an empty server.
What to watch
- The map marks the biggest player in the sessions that showed a marker. Steer away from that marker while you are small.
- Area banners print a recommended level. Whispering Woods is Lv 15+. One earlier walkthrough also warned about a level 15 zone without naming it.
- Fights show an IN COMBAT state. Leave it before you start a long sprint if you can.
- A crown on the players list marks the top player. Rows also show bug, level, and tier, such as Garden Spider Lv 48 T1, Grasshopper Lv 31 T2, and Black Widow Lv 43 T3.
Getting away
Sprint with Run. It spends stamina, so start before your health is gone. Flying forms use FLY. Housefly flight is the documented escape, and it failed for a moment in one clip, so it is not a guaranteed exit. Thick Carapace helps you live through a hit. Skitter makes the sprint cheaper.
Death in the October 27 walkthrough did not reset progress. You respawn and lose time, not the bug you already evolved.
Teams and the invite reward
The Team button is on the left side of the HUD. Join the same public server as a friend, then team up. Teammate damage was not tested in the footage, so do not assume friendly fire is off.
The Invite button shows +500. The unit was not labeled. Inviting is still the documented way to pull a friend into the session. Teams matter most on the Emperor Scorpion and during Night Hunt, when everyone nearby is scoring double XP.
The long-term prompt on the official description is to become King of the server. That line does not name a final insect. Outgrowing the lobby is the goal the game states. A crown on the players list is the marker that was seen.
Early habits that match the footage
- Finish the opening goal. One tutorial's current objective was level 8. Another tutorial had six steps, and step 5 was to bite an acorn or cocoon until it broke. Yellow arrows pointed at the target.
- Hunt ants, crickets, beetles, acorns, and cocoons before you hunt players.
- A giant cricket has been seen as a larger wild target. Check your level before you commit.
- Do not chase a tiny orb when a large one is closer.
- Read an evolution's stat card before you spend coins.
